Taco Pizza

Sometimes I wonder if I am part hispanic. I love Mexican food. I could eat queso and chips 7 nights a week. Unfortunately my husband isn't much of a fan. He should have been born chinese (yuck! Yes I am that one person in the world that hates chinese food.) So I am resorted to cooking mexican on nights where it is just the munchkin and I at home to enjoy :) Fine with me that means more for my belly!

Again thanks to Pinterest for this recipe. My Holy grail of all that is food :)

Ingredients:

-1 lb. ground beef
-1 envelope taco seasoning mix
-1 tube pizza crust by pillsbury
-1 can refried beans
-2-3 cups shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican blend
-1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
-1/2 cup green onions chopped

Heat oven to pizza crust directions desired temperature. Brown ground beef and drain. Add taco seasoning to the ground beef according to the package directions. Roll out pizza dough on cookie sheet of your liking. Press dough over the bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust. Bake according to package directions until crust is barely golden. Microwave beans in a microwave safe bowl for 1 minute. Carefully spread beans over warm crust creating a thin layer. Top with cooked beef mixture, sprinkle with cheese followed by tomatoes, and green onion. Return to oven until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.
